LIFE IN PARADISE
sitcom
[Being written on spec for Martin Short]
“Life in Paradise” is about Louie Short, the cheapest man on the planet, his mistress who loves him, his wife who hates him and six millennials he can’t stand. Louie is so cheap, he buys the apartment building his mistress lives in, so he can make her manager and write her off on his taxes. Then his wife decides to move in. Could it get any worse? You bet. The six millennials he can’t stand are his tenants. They’re always bugging him about getting things like heat and water.
THE WINSLOW INN
An hour-long heart-warming drama reminiscent of the long-running hit “Highway to Heaven” and the new series "God Friended Me".
An eleven-year-old-girl and a social worker inherit a beautiful inn on a lake. They turn it into a half-way house for people in trouble. All kinds of people, no matter what their age, race, nationality or religion. They all get a second chance at life - some take it, and some don't.
LOOKING FOR LOVE
sitcom
[Wanda Sykes and Ross Matthews (Ross the Intern) are not committed to this pilot. They are dream casting for the show.]
The speed dating situation in and of itself is hilarious. Whether it be a feature film or a sitcom. Anytime you've got Wanda Sykes running a speed dating service, Ross Matthews at the receptionist's desk and twelve crazed clients looking for love - you've got a sit-com. Six of the twelve crazed clients are six series regulars. They come back every week because they're too "exceptional" to find a date.
